This is lesson 24 in Part 2 of my upcoming book, “Engage, Connect, Grow – 52 lessons to guide individuals and corporate teams to the heart of what truly matters to them.” The book is coming out in the Fall of 2017.
What values do you live by? In 2012, 2013, and the years following, I did a lot of work on my values. I was able to define them better. I was able to determine which ones worked for me and which ones I didn’t want to follow any longer.

Exercise for You
- What do you truly value? Values are within your core and non-negotiable.
- What values come to mind that are true to you? Write them out. Review the list of values and write down the ones that you gravitate to. Make a short list of three to six and spend some time living with these values. Review them daily. You can journal about your experience when it comes to living your values.

Exercise for Your Team or Group
- If people are open to it, they can share with everyone their own individual values.
- What values are important to the team?
